It’s been an eventful few months here at Projet Communautaire de Pierrefonds (PCP). Our community-focused efforts were directed towards helping low-income and recent immigrant families across the West Island. We held a full slate of programs for pre-school children and after-school students, and were able to connect socially-isolated single and new mothers to other moms.
In light of dramatically growing needs, we expanded our slate of mental health program initiatives into new schools. We’re also unveiling new art and improv programs in early 2021, to help young people creatively express themselves in healthy, fun, and hopefully...cathartic ways.
All of this would not have been possible without following strict COVID-19 protocols. I’m awfully proud of the PCP team and all our volunteers for being so diligent and committed to safety - thereby ensuring that no children, students, client members or staff were impacted by COVID-19.
As I said earlier, it's been a busy, intense stretch. So...on behalf of the PCP team, I wish you and your loved ones a truly relaxing holiday break, and here’s to a healthy and more optimistic 2021!
