For the first time since 2019, PCP held its annual "pot-luck" holiday celebration for valued members and community partners at le Centre Communautaire Marcel Morin on a snowy Friday evening in mid-December. Over 220 people were in attendance, with a number of PCP family members bringing a variety of homemade foods for everyone to enjoy. Once again, Santa and his elves came to spend time with the kids and distribute over 135 individually wrapped and tagged presents, along with boxes of chocolates and clementines for family members.
This wonderful event would not have achieved the success it had without the incredible dedication of PCP staff, volunteers, and family members, along with the awe-inspiring involvement of our fantastic and generous community-minded partners who come through year after year - notably:
Tanya Schwab and the team at Pfizer Canada for the wrapped gifts and goodies;
Dwight Faithful and the team at Rolls Royce Canada - including Scott Tebbs, Michael Lariccia, Ivan Dacosta, Jane O’Brien, Giovanni Nucciarone, Kelly Mockler, and Nathalie Mocklerfor for their involvement in helping to serve food, clean up, and put smiles on all the kids' faces;
Jesse and William at Tim Hortons for their ever-generous donation of coffee and donuts;
Elizabeth Cochrane at the Montreal Gazette Christmas Fund for her generosity in helping to support over 20 families in need during the holiday season.
